Problem on phpBB installing using Fantastico

Three days ago I installed phpBB using Fantastico,but when i login the forum using admin ,it's has problem: I can't login! and if I register the forum in another one,the resgisteration is OK!But the login problem is still!

How to fix it?
Could anyone help me?

Fantasico is not actually very good at installing a lot of programs. They tend to break very easy. I would sugest you uninstall it and install the latest phpBB version from the phpBB site. They have instructions and help on installing and really its not to difficult. If you have any problems you can get pretty good support in their forums as well. But yeah stay away from fantastico installs if you can.

i always install everything from forum to blog system manually... that way i can be certain that everything is right, and if something is wrong i know where to look. i never use fantastico even though i think it's a pretty cool thing to have.

anyway, why can't you login? did it say wrong password? wrong login info? wrong username? or just some kind of database error?

I have a few websites running phpbb. I uploaded everything manually using FTP, created the mysql databases manually, and configured everything manually and never had any issues. I recommend manually uploading everything via FTP as well. I've never used fantastico so not sure if that would be the way I would recommend installing phpbb.

1) As you say, when i upload all the phpBB 2.0.20 files,and install phpBB manually,
the phpBB Forum is OK, no problem!

2) Fantasico has some bugs(?) when installing some programs.
