I've got an addon domain that was working fine. However, I redesigned the website and now, when going to the addon, only "half" of it works. That is, text appears but its not formatted how I designed it; site logo in upper left does not appear at all, however it's link to "home" still works; and other graphics don't appear (such as lines, boxes, etc.).
Then, when I link to some of the pages (but not all) some of the text formatting appears on those pages.
Then, my original web page actually works like I need the add on to work. Just for now, I redirected the addon to the original page, which looks fine except certain files can't download, clicking on the link returns the page to home.
I waited overnight thinking that might help, but no, same problem.
TIA

seem like is page not found, thus redirecting back to home.
make sure your new domain is directly accessible from .com, (domain propagation need up to 48 hours).
refer this link for where to upload the files to addon domains:

Sounds like a CSS issue.

I agree with AfroJoJo ... it sounds a lot like what happened when I had two css files with similar names and mixed them up in a couple of pages

addon domain: pl-lp.com (had it for about two months now)
main domain: palermolaw.com
I have had the addon redirected to the main (turned off for now so you can see the problem) which works, but would prefer if it works right instead of patched together.
You'll see the main looks how I want the addon to look. Made with iWeb, which worked fine until now so its not like I fiddled with the css.
If its one of those 48 hour deals, would it make sense that it would work perfectly fine on palermolaw almost instantly but not pl-lp? and only partially for pl-lp? and do I need to keep the redirect off for 48 hours
Thanks all for the help.

Got it!
Hot link protection was "enabled" and I made it "disable" problem solved. Don't ask me what that means, I was searching for "file permissions" and found that solution.
Thanks to all who looked, anyway. may this thread help someone in the future
