Some features of BlueHost include:
1). "Host 6 Domains On 1 Account" and
2). "5 Add-on Domains"

I'm assuming #1 means I can host 6 different websites on my main account. How do I go about doing that, and can I change my main account to something short & sweet like abc.com?

Also, whats the difference between a sub-domain and an add-on domain?

I'm new to this so any help would be much appreciated.

To host 6 domains you have one main domain and 5 add-ons.

When you create an add-on domain it sets up a separate folder to use to host that domain. It also creates a subdomain for you to use to reference that hosting prior to the domain propogating.

So if your main hosting is abc.com and you want to add-on the def domain there will be a folder created within your hosting called def and that folder will be accessible as

abc.com/def/ (by folder)
def.abc.com (as a sub domain)
def.com (as the actual add-on domain once propogated)

Of course you don't advertise the first two of those anywhere as they are just for your use in maintaining the site.
