Hi, I'm one of those poor saps who bought a laptop with Windows Vista. (I didn't have a choice, I needed a new one)
Anyway, for some reason, I can't receive e-mail using the default "Windows Mail" program. Sending is no problem, but incoming mail doesn't come in. If anyone can help, that would be great!

Are you getting any kind of error message? I haven't seen WM in the flesh yet, but from the screenshots I've seen, the setup appears to be identical to Outlook Express. And POP email is still just POP email!

Its the strangest thing, I don't get any error messages. Normally, I would blame this on Vista like everything else, but I had it set up for a few weeks on my old server and it worked first thing.
I thought maybe I needed to try entering kevintracy+ktracy.com in the username field, but then I got an error. I can at least send with just kevintracy in there.
(One Solution: Don't upgrade to Vista)

In Outlook, to use BH POP accounts, I need to enter the full email address in the username field - thename@thedomain.com. I'd be surprised if WM were any different.

First, don't be so quick to blame it on Vista. Windows Mail is the same program as Outlook Express.
Have you checked all your settings? You may be overlooking something. Is the port number correct? Username/Password?
Beyond that, check the firewall built into Vista. Turn it off for a minute to test it, just make sure to turn it back on.
