awstats not working on the site

i have just installed mysite www.pimingdaddy.com on bluehost server.
this site is working fine but am unable to start awstats for this site
this is what the error is

Error: Couldn't open config file "awstats.pimpingdaddy.com.conf" nor "awstats.conf" after searching in path ".,/home/pimpingd/tmp/awstats/,/etc/opt/awstats,/etc/awstats,/etc,/usr/local/etc/awstats": No such file or directory

- Did you use the correct URL ?
Example: http://localhost/awstats/awstats.pl?config=mysite
Example: http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/awstats.pl?config=mysite
- Did you create your config file 'awstats.pimpingdaddy.com.conf' ?
If not, you can run "./../../tools/awstats_configure.pl" from command line, or create it manually.

Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).


any help in fixing this will be highly appreciated.

what thing you configuring ??
as i remember, the awstat is ready installed and i just click to view it. cant remember i run any setup :rolleyes:

Have you enabled awstats in Stats Manager? :)

Anyone notice awstats takes longer and longer everyday to update the previous day? I swear in a few months its going to be like 3 days behind.It runs a little later every day, but that doesn't affect the actual statistics - it assigns the visits to the day on which they occurred, not to the day on which awstats was run. So, ultimately, it doesn't make any difference.

i got that running now.
it had to be configured in the stats manger section.
after configuring in that section it started tracking in 24 hours or so.
i have had the same problem with another host same time only.
there also i had to do the same thing.
