Email, Calendar Help

I hope this doesn't sound too stupid but:

I have IMAP email set-up fine with BH but is there a way while using Outlook to see appointments and contacts from several computers? Do I need to be using and Exchange server?

Any other options? Other email hosting? Open source apps?

Google has a nice solution for small businesses.

There is theoretically a way to do shared calendars without having an Exchange server, but after a quick read of the article about it, here (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA011477571033.aspx), I'd give it about a 10% chance of actually working! YMMV.

Nice choice, but we would rather the solution worked with Outlook.

Then, your safest choice would be an exchange server. Fairly easy to set up now-a-days if you have the resources.

Google apps is looking pretty good for a web based system.
