I'm well into my third year with BlueHost. I now have 5 different accounts, two of them are High-CPU ones.

I like the fact that BlueHost has a LIVE person, which I can call and speak with when I have a question or just screw something up.

I also like the fact that they do their best to backup your data. I have had BlueHost restore three of my sites over the years. I do my own backups everyone other day anyway, but it sure saved me a lot of time to have had them do it for me.

There was a time (Jan to Feb???? 2007) when BlueHost wasn't the up to par. They told me (Matt's blog too) that they were obtaining new equipment, etc. and things would be ironed out. I stuck with BlueHost during that time and I am glad that I did because they are back to providing me with great service at such a small price. :)

Two of my accounts are High-CPU ones. I run an Invision Power Board on each of them as well as a CMS publishing software application.

The one account in one month ran: 39,421 unique users, 1,337,671 page views, 11,825,359 hits and 100.97GB of transfer without any problems. We have about 100-200 people on the forums at any one time. We did not get that "Exceeded CPU Error" many times at all.

The other High-CPU site racked up: Over 106,000 unique users, 3 million+ page views and 26 million plus hits and 250+ Gigs of data transfer in one month. Not many of the CPU errors either.

I have have one concern with BlueHost - what will happen when I out grow their High-CPU package?

Other than that, I have had websites since 1998 and I find this outfit (BlueHost) among the best.

Sounds pretty good.
I'm still on the basic package and my site survived last month with only 1 or 2 CPU errors due to traffic.
Other errors were from backups or a server error I think.
1,500,000 pageviews, 12,000,000 hits and 150 Gigs of traffic.
I must say that my main site is plain HTML, but at least 95% of all pageviews are Coppermine (most stripped settings to decrease CPU usage).
If my site grows futher I still have a way to expand without having to leave BH.
Hopefully Matt will come up with a 'secret' VPS plan for really big clients that outgrow the heavy CPU plan too in the future.

Wow, three years and only two posts in the forum. Must be a wiz.

I've just been thrilled with BH myself, the customer service is stellar.

Not a whiz. Most of my questions are reserved for Invision Power.

Didn't know that. Thanks, I'll check into it.

Bluehost does not offer dedicated servers. Bluehost is a shared hosting provider.

Care to show me where, for someone who writes reviews about Bluehost you don't seem to know much about them, or is it the links to your sites, on the forum that interest you

Yeah, I called to BlueHost, but they said they are only considering offering something like a dedicated program.

I have no problem with members posting links but if you are going to review Bluehost at least give out the right info..:o ;)

If I need a better package (higher CPU consumption), anyone can tell me how much it is?

Thanks so much :D
