Email Error - Domain Maxes out

When sending out emails from our domain hosted by bluehost, we get the message, "permanent error: [your domain] has exceeded the maximum number of emails per hour... messages discarded."

Any ideas on how to change this setting in the bluehost cpanel or in some other way?

You can't. Bluehost (as with any other host) limits the number of emails you can send per hour, in our case 50 emails an hour. (which is comparable to other hosts). If you have a legitimate need, they will up it to around 300-500 emails and hour. Call or email customer support and they can help you.

If they are not able to up your limit for some reason, you can use certain mass email sending programs that will queue the emails and send out less then 50 per hour.
