It been some while most of us where waiting for this . . .

Go ahead & download the Office 12 Beta2 from microsoft website. You may have to verfify your email & get the Product Key via mail.

Those who have not yet tested any of the Office 12 beta, try this. I would recomend you to install as an additional product, don't upgrade from you previous. There are lots of new features & a brand new inovative menus. Personally I like it a lot, brings you that special freshness which you need it while your working.

The big question is...Is it going to be the same ol' bloatware from MS. It doesnt matter to me personally since I dont use Windows frequently. I just feel sorry for people who have to deal with it on a daily basis.

I hope I'm not starting some sort of flame war, but I find Office to truly be a monster.

OpenOffice.org (http://www.openoffice.org) - open source, great support, smaller files, compatible with Mickeysoft Orifice.

OK, I'm biased, but if you're willing to check out MS's new stuff, check out everyone else's too. :)

I actually like Open Office, which I personally use on OS X. For Linux though I've been using KOffice more and more.
