I am using my website as a redirect for a game server i host. When connecting to my game server a player is then redirected to the website to download the files needed to connect to and play on the game server. The problem is I upload the iwd files to the website where they show up as iwd files but when they are downloaded they come back as zip files. Because of this the redirect is dropped and downloads revert back to the gameserver which is painfully slow. I was using another website with cpanel did everything the same way and it worked that site just didn't have enough monthly bandwidth and would shut down in the middle of the month. Was hoping someone might have a solution.

I have had similer problems with some of the file types on my account as well. I would try adding a mime type for the file type. That usually fixes the problem for me.

Thanks for the replay Rayan but never having dealt with mime before I dont have a clue. I open mime types in cpanel and see fields for mime types and extentions and a long list of extentions. Would you now what to add to these fields to help with win.zip and win.rar files. Any help would be great.

Try putting in the mime type field application/iwd and in the extension field put iwd. I think that should work.
