please help PHP noob :(

I'm setting up a phpbb forum and I would like to change the default template. Usually there is an install link in the admin panel with various templates but I cant find it. Is there anyother way of doing it? where can I download a template and how should I install it?:(

Extract the files, and upload them to the template folder in the phpBB directory (like, myforum/templates/templatename). Now login as an administrator, and under styles administration, click "add". There should be the name of the template directory that you uploaded, and you use that.

Where is that directory located at? sorry i'm a complete noob :(

Is it in the file manager?

File Manager > public_html (or www) > [forumdirectory] > etc.

You click on icons to navigate to the folder and folder names to select them.

Please, please, please use FTP. Its so much better.

The path was posted by Basil, just navigate to that and upload the template files.
