Cannot send emails through Outlook Express.

Does anyone have a solution to my problem, I cannot send emails through outlook express.

What error message does it give you?

Sending problems with Outlook Express are usually caused by one of two things. First, your ISP may be blocking port 25, so use port 26, instead.

More often, however, the blocking is occurring because of your security software. Both Norton and McAfee are notorious for screwing things up. It'll work fine until you get an update to the security package, and then it fails again. Turn off all scanning of outgoing email, and disable any sort of "wormstopper" or "Internet worm protection" function, as well.
