Anybody ever hear of Fireboard?

I will probably go with SMF, but I just now ran into this and was curious if anyone had ever heard of it. How easy or hard is it to manage? Is it more like SMF, or more like phpbb?
It's still in beta so there isn't a lot of info out there on it, but the look of it is rather nice.
