I have uploaded a Coppermine gallery to my site through Fantastico. I hadn't updated it in quite a while and when I went there last week in order to delete a user, I couldn't log in. It seems that it doesn't recognize me, not only as the admin of the gallery but also as a user! Whenever I try logging in, I get the message: "Couldn't log in. Try again."
Is there anyway to get back my admin privileges? I tried to do it via the Bluehost control panel (in the MySQLdatabases section) but nothing works... Can anyone please help me with this? Also, I have no knowledge of how databases work so I would appreciate if you could be as accurate as possible in your explanations.
Thanks in advance! :)

guess after setup, you not setup your admin profile with the email address added. If you did this, you can retrieve it to your email address.
not sure you can tweak the database, to look for the user account stored inside. or add the email to it manually.

Thanks for your help but do you know how to do this? How can I change something in the database if I don't have access to it? As I said in my initial request, I don't know anything about that kind of programming...

That made me curious -
Go to your cpanel and choose phpmyadmin. In phpmyadmin choose your database. Click on query:
Field: user password
Click on SHOW
Use tables: find users and highlight
click on submit query (it might make you do this twice)
You'll get a LONG password
It might work. do NOT save the query, just back out once you run it.
Hope that helps. :D

Thank you so much!!!! This query actually allowed me to see all the information about all the users and it made me realize that I had registered using my website email address instead of my regular one. So I made a request for a new password (god, this sounds so ridiculous when you know that I AM the administrator! LOL!) and now all is good! Yay! :D
