Alright, I'm quite new here ;)

I've signed up for my bluehost account just recently, and service as well as features and speed are quite amazing, especially compared to my other hostings... (got several domains, but yet need to move these... lot of work ;) )
...

now I wanted to play around with zope/plone to see if it works as a CMS for what I need (So far I have used MAmbo/Joomla and drupal... some typo3... and a self made solution which no longer fits the needs...)

from the specs and from what I've seen plone would be quite ideal for what I need... now I know that zope is not running by default... but mabye there is a chance to get it ?? or install it locally (home-dir / userbased).?

thanks

Daniel

I have contacted bluehost support about this ... and there's no chance to get zope/plone running here...

I did a local install of zope & plone on my Mac's OS X ... runns quite smoothly, and honestly is one of the best CMS Systems I have ever tried...

at the moment, but not only because of the CMS, I am thinking about investing into a VPS or VDS (virtual private server, virtual dedicated server)... some apps I need for my business need to be installed as root user, and that is not an option with bluehost...

Has there been any change in bluehost policy on plone? I read somewhere that bluehost does ineed support plone.
