tikiwiki watches not working as I expect.

Hi,
I've been setting up a few wiki in the last couple of weeks and I've got everything I need working except watches.

I've enabled them and get the eye-symbol showing up and working ok.
I can see the watches I've set up in "my watches"

I've set up several user account for myself with different valid email addresses.

But I never receive any notifications.
They should be sent to your registered email address right?

I've looked at every configuration panel I can find but can't see anything amiss.

I have version 1.9.7 of tikiwiki installed.

Any clues would be appreciated.

Thanks but I've already been there.
I believe my watches are on.
My main interest is in watches for forums.
I have watches and notifications set all over the place trying to debug this.

I seem to have no email notifications of any sort working.
Forum posts to email isn't working.

It looks to me like my tiki just can't send email.
I have two BH accounts and have tried both.
Maybe there is a error log somewhere that will give me a clue?

PS emailing a blog works.
It seems tiki can email.
PPS Found it - the sender email field was blank.
P^3S Not quite, fixing the sender email fixed the notifications but not the watches.
