Hi all,
I've seen this question one other thread and it wasn't very clear so I'm hoping someone here has a simple workaround.
Within the global setting in Joomla is a mail tab. There are options for SMTP, sendmail, and phpmail. It's set to phpmail and when a user get an email from he system it displays as fresnoso@265box.bluehost.com
Questions:
1. Does Bluehost offer SMTP for my hosted domain?
2. Is there a .php file I can modify to show the "from" field as coming from my domain?
Thanks in advance,
John

Learned that I should read a bit more before posting. Here's what I found:
When using Joomla mailer there needs to be a legitimate email address set up in order to show the "from" field as me. This is to prevent spammers from abusing the system. I set up an email address in control panel and used that address in Joomla's global>mail tab and the "from" field now correctly shows my return address.
