OK I have this website that it is not a website perse, it's a forum with a domain, something very simple and straight forward. I have submitted my site in hundreds of website indexes, spammed all over similar websites, posted ads on craigslist and I'm not receiving the traffic I thought it should... considering how many hours I have spent....

Even though I have submitted my url numerous times it does not come up in google or any where. What else can be done??? what I'm I doing wrong??

How can I make every page searchable on google like other forums??

Here is my web, any help is greatly appreciated.. and I will link back to your page if you can help me.

first of all congrats on your forums, a lot of action seems to be going on there. One thing you really need to improve on is making your URL search engine friendly

currently when I click on one of your forum threads the URL looks like this when clicking on "Announcements".........

One very obvious problem is that the subject of guitars and guitarists is SO extremely popular, and that there are so many sites already dedicated to this subject that you are a very small fish in a very large pond. (No offense intended, it's just the reality.)

With so many other guitar websites showing up before yours, you will have trouble getting exposure.

Try Google Ad-words if you don't mind paying for exposure. It takes a while to explain, so just look at their adwords page and figure it out. You set a limit on what you pay for a click-thru and a maximum for daily charges, kind of like bidding on exposures.

For me, it is real easy because my website covers a very obscure subject, so that there are only 3 people in the country who are paying google for exposure. Even though the search engines don't turn me up first, Google in particular features me as one of 3 sites that come up as sponsored sites. This only costs me money when someone VISITS my site thru Google, and at $1.50 a pop and $20 a day maximum bid, I am the most prevalent site.

This still only results in a few click-thrus per month, and I have only paid maybe $200 over 2 years. (Very few click thrus, but they are all people who may pay me hundreds or thousands of dollars for the services I provide - and my product is only of interest to a very small audience.)

With the subject of "guitar" you are going to be up against probably thousands of websites, and probably hundreds who are willing to pay for traffic. It ain't like it was in, say, 1990, when anyone who submitted a website to a search engine got shown on the first page of a search.

You really need to choose a few very special guitar subjects that no other forum covers, and concentrate on them to generate hits based on special subjects rather than on guitars in general. Use very narrow search terms like "Gibson Flying Vee" instead of electric guitar, or "piedmont style" instead of "fingerpicking," etc.

If you already have some traffic, have a contest and ask your members to generate very specialized search phrases, and ask your members to personally invite friends from competing forums.

for seo wise... never ever spam in any method.

submit your website to search engine, free directory, and paid directory as well.
