I have been with bluehost since 2005 and have not had many problems except for Extremely limited MySql connections. I was able to talk one of my friends into letting me use a part of his server for my mysql database for my biggest site and remotely connect to it from my server. Ever since I started connecting to the mysql database on his server, I have never had an "Account exceeded CPU quota" message. I have 2 bluehost servers for 5 of my sites and now I need more mysql connections. I am looking for a host that allows a lot more connections with mysql 4.1.0 or higher and is affordable. ($10 or less a month). My Mysql database is around 20mb in size and has been running for about 3 months on my friends server and has only used 30mb a month in transfer and has put no strain on his server. I am wanting to move everything again because I don't want to keep leaching off of him forever. I still do not see why bluehost has such a small limit on mysql connections which is the number one reason why many bluehost members get the "Account Exceeded CPU Quota" message. Maybe one day in the future, Bluehost may get the idea and move it up to 50 connections or so instead of 20 or 25. Sure would help out a lot of people and will prove that BlueHost really does care for their members. So, if anyone knows of a good MySql Host or just a host that allows a lot more mysql connections, please tell me. I am averaging 4,000 uniques a day per server with well over 50,000 page loads per server, so I need a reliable host.

Thanks for the help in advance!

wow.. since 2005. that is a long time.

I am averaging 4,000 uniques a day per server with well over 50,000 page loads per server,

50k pageviews seem like that is far beyond what any shared hosting able to do for your webpages. And its with mysql which uses more resources and connection.

you can consider upgrade to higher cpu usage server from bluehost. And it cost about $20 per month. contact sales for confirmation.

congratulation on your success with your website traffics. well done.
