please someone help me, I published my website and I created php-nuke and it worked for long time, then I edited the header.php for my php-nuke but suddenly I had this problem (http 500). I want to note that I already kept the original file header.php and I upload it again but I faced the same problem. also I created a new php-nuke using Fantastico but the problem ( I can't browse my website). I had a Coppermine Photo Gallery and also it is not working. I don't think the problem happend because of (header.php) so kindly can you inform me soon and give me the sulotion.

thanks in advance

I think there's a bigger problem here. My site is spitting out 500 errors as well on all my PHP-run pages and I haven't changed a thing for over a week. Could this be related to the new FastCGI that was just installed?

Thank you so much Zombie-F, you gave a big HINT to solve the problem. I disapled the FastCGI and the website worked immediatly. Thank you again.

plus I checked the log error and this is what I found:

[Sun Jul 1 15:55:05 2007] [error] [client 64.34.170.29] (111)Connection refused: FastCGI: failed to connect to server "/usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/virtualphp": connect() failed

Bluehost is currently investigating issues with the current deployment of FastPHP/FastCGI. If you notice wacky behavior after enabling FastPHP (either immediately or just recently), common sense says to turn it off. Personally, I have been running-- and continue to run-- FastPHP without issue since the inception.

All my forums started spitting out server 500 errors so I turned off FastCGI and they are all back. It's defenitely a FastCGI problem :(

Likewise... just shut it off and all is well again. Maybe they're still working out the kinks.

Though, I will admit, over the past day or so my site had been running much faster than normal. I hope Bluehost gets whatever the issue is worked out as the speed increase is greatly appreciated. :D

One way to solve the problem is disabling FastCGI Acceleration.
