It's going to be on my turtle pond so I can watch them :) I know what some of you were thinking, lol!!

Anyways, I got the camera, the domain, the server and now don't know how to put it all together...

I have tried TinCam which I couldn't understand at all..

And also ChillCam but when I hit "streaming" it shuts it down and I get the MS Windows error box asking if I want to send the report to them... and this is only when I hit "streaming"...

And this is what I'd like to do, streaming video.

I'm begging you, can someone please help? :(

Thank you very much.

Crysti

PS: Also, if anyone wants to help via Windows Live Messenger (MSN) I have that up and it's in my profile :)

It really depends on how you have the cam setup on your home computer. Are you trying to stream a live video feed or are you doing periodic pics? I did a simple one with my cam set to one pic every 5 minutes and the image is just over writen.

For that I just used xitami to turn my home computer into a server and created a webpage that updated every 600 seconds.

It was a while ago but I also got Gallery2 to work with my cam.

If you just want to stream video for a couple of people the easiest way is to use your home computer and VLC Media Player from http://www.videolan.org and bypass bluehost completely. I've used it to stream cable programs from home to myself at work ... I didn't want to miss the new Dr.Who

Anyways, it all really depends on how your cam and home computer are setup.

Good Luck!
