Hey Folks-
Sorry if this is somewhat off-topic as it may be more relevant to a FMP group BUT I am changing my website to a mySQL driven scenario now that I am at bluehost. I would love to hook my office filemaker system up to Bluehosts mySQL services but I am stuck on two points:
1. I am not sure if you are allowed to that sort of thing...ie maintain authoring connections from an intranet to a bluehost mySQL database. It has been suggested that most ISPs do not allow that sort of thing as it's not the most secure thing. It has been suggested that passing text or csv files back and worth would work better.
2. I have no idea how to do it either but I may be able to work it out at some point.
