Dave here.
I have a question for you.
I am in the process of learning the ability of downloading and opening
the files of, let’s say, a digital product with resale rights. (I'm not doing well, so far)
I know that a mini site will consist of approx 3 pages.
The problem that I am struggling with is: setting up the whole system.
Opening a zipped file, matching and putting all of the internal files together, such as images files to the sales letters and thank you letters etc..
Then I need to coordinate my pay pal buttons, where to get them and how they will
direct the buyer once they purchase the product, the download page or thank you page and anything else that is involved in setting up the whole system.
Basically, I need to set up the whole process, once I receive the product that I want to promote.
I am sure that once I get the hang of it, I will be a very good asset for you to have in your tool belt, as an affiliate or other ventures.
Do you have access to any material that can hold my hand and walk me through step by step ,
of setting up an e-commerce product from the start to the finish?
Thank you for any info that you can give.
Dave.

Your questions are too vague.

If you are wanting to set up a website, you could start by learning html, just google html tutorials. That will get you started.

Dave here.

I have a question for you.
-- I have an answer.

I am in the process of learning the ability of downloading and opening
the files of, let’s say, a digital product with resale rights. (I'm not doing well, so far)
-- keep trying and don't give up.

I know that a mini site will consist of approx 3 pages.
The problem that I am struggling with is: setting up the whole system.
Opening a zipped file, matching and putting all of the internal files together, such as images files to the sales letters and thank you letters etc..
-- you don't have to match up files, just keep them in the same structure within your website folder they provided you with.

Then I need to coordinate my pay pal buttons, where to get them and how they will direct the buyer once they purchase the product, the download page or thank you page and anything else that is involved in setting up the whole system.
-- PayPal will provide you with the button code that you can place in the index.htm(l) page provided within the website folder.

Basically, I need to set up the whole process, once I receive the product that I want to promote.
-- yes, it would be good to promote something you already own, as you can't really promote it otherwise because you don't have resell rights and the free marketing material (website folder) that often comes with the resell rights.

I am sure that once I get the hang of it, I will be a very good asset for you to have in your tool belt, as an affiliate or other ventures.
-- I don't know that you would be an asset, yet, since you are still learning, however, maybe having this information (albeit a bit late) would be a good thing for you to have.

Do you have access to any material that can hold my hand and walk me through step by step,
-- no, but BlueHost does have the tools you need to do so.

of setting up an e-commerce product from the start to the finish?
-- while you may consider this to be e-commerce, I can assure you that it is not. You are only selling one product on a website using PayPal. You may consider this to be a very scaled down version of e-commerce, and I can be forced to agree. But, you are missing MANY pieces of the whole package.

-- for instance, once your ebook/epackage is sold, you will then have to deliver it via email... instant delivery would be a big perk as well as maintaining a list of customers.

-- what about a shopping cart for the whole site, and a real merchant, oh, and an business license, and an affiliate program, and autoresponders... etc.

Thank you for any info that you can give.
Dave.

-- for now I would simply stick with the basics. Go to PayPal and get the code you need for the buttons. Put that code into the index.htm(l) page where you want the buttons to appear. (When someone click on your PayPal button, they will be redirected to PayPal to complete the sale.) Use the control panel to FTP upload the contents of the website folder (don't move anything around.) You can use the control panel also to protect your images folder.

-- you will have to monitor the mail that PayPal sends you to let you know a sale has been completed and manually send the file(s) yourself to the purchaser.

 If you are ready for the BIG jump, I might suggest your use 1ShoppingCart  BUT you have a lot to learn, like HOW do you propose to drive traffic to your website once it is up???

Best wishes
