why have multiple ftp accounts

I have several domains on my account. What is the advantage of separate ftp accounts for each domain?

basically you can set access root. Each ftp (for the domain).. set the root to that addon domain folder. Thus it can accessing that domain files only.

I use it for other people accessing my account, so they can access a specific directory without my FTP username and password, and so I can assign quotas.
