Hi
I have a question here:
Say I store a movie on my site. Is it possible to watch that movie (.avi file) on my PC using say PowerDVD WITHOUT having to download the movie to my PC ?
If possible any special setup required ?
Would the movie quality be affected ?
How would I do that (watching the movie) ?
Thank You

basically a quicktime AVI video, and a quicktime player will enable you to stream video from server and watch it.

Hi
I tried and it does not work. With PowerDVD, if you open the program and drag the movie to it, it plays the movie. I tried doing the same ie: connecting to my site hosted on Bluehost and dragging the movie to the open PowerDVD program and nothing happens (PowerDVD Ultra reads .avi files BTW).
I tried the same with quicktime, no luck. T When you open PowerDVD or Quicktime and click the open file button, a box opens up (file manager type of box) and you can select the file. When that file is stored on Bluehost, what is to be done to select the file from my Bluehost site for it to play locally ?
Thanks

how you drag it? i dont get it.
you will need to EMBED the avi video in your webpage.
By this, the quicktime will play. Inside your browser. As its going through http.
