I am trying to get SSH access to my site, but am having some trouble. I am the admin for my cousin's memorial website, but his mother is the owner. when i applied for SSH, she got the email (not me) and it was denied because I am not her. How can I rectify this?

you have to have the owner of the account send in a copy of their divers license or some other kind of photo ID to bluehost. that's the only way

I have signed up but my question would be what server do I connect to and what type of username/password combination do I use...
I tried pointing at the cPanel ip: 69.89.22.135
and used:
username: user@mydomain.com
password: mynormalpassword
But no joy...
Any pointers here?
Thanks

Username is not user@mydomain.com, it would be the first 8 letters of your domain name. The same username that you use to access cPanel and the same username that bluehost sent you with the welcome email.
