I have a site with 300MB files and 3 MySQL databases(1MB, 50MB, 60MB).
Because my internet connection is really slow 2048/256Kbps it will take me hours to download and reupload my site.

Can Bluehost download the site for me by accessing my old host's ftp?
When and how do I choose between PHP4 and PHP5?
When and how do I choose between MySQL4 and MySQL5?
Does Bluehost support MyISAM tables?
Is there a database quota? (ex. 100MB/database)
What Apache version do you run? Can I choose a server with Apache2?
Is mod_security installed?

why weren't these questions ever answered? some of the questions may require lengthy explanation, but could bluehost support answer AT LEAST the last question, please?

Why don't you try asking BlueHost support. They are more likely to know whether they can do that for you than the BlueHost customers who help one another out via these forums.

mod_security is not installed.

And for completeness (albeit belatedly)..

1. If you have a static IP/SSH you can do this yourself. I do not know if support will do it for you.

2. Well, php4 is dead. Dead dead dead. So looks like it's time to start using php5.

3. http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/4.1/en/mysql-5-0-nutshell.html

4. Yes.

5. Not that I know of.

6. I think everything is running on apache2 now.

When I transfered my domain to Bluehost (http://www.bluehost.com), I used Core FTP (http://www.coreftp.com/). I was able to do a site to site transfer without moving my files to or from my own computer.
