mysql server name?

I already created a mysql database, but what is the name of the mysql server where it is located so i can access it ? where can i find this information?

Thanks for the very useful advice. I didn't know this either. I used a different name 'mysql' with my previous host. Unfortunately, we are not all as knowledgeable as some 'Senior Members' :)

Sorry, but every host I've been with, as well as every script and PHP snippet I've seen uses 'localhost' as the default.

I didn't mean to sound arrogant or anything.
