What is different ip shared with dedicated ip?

Hi,

I would like to know this.Now,i just see the different is upload some file from bluehost to productupload.live.com and to have 1 SSL seal.

Anyone know more?

dedicated IP:
- you can access your website with just IP. without using domain.
- you will need this, if you want to get a private ssl cert.
- the IP is not shared with other website/user
