I am new to *.gz files. What programs can I use to extract the files?:confused:

If I remember correctly, WinRAR (for Windows obviously) will extract .gz files.

Yes, winrar will work but if it's something that you are uploading to bluehost you can just use the "extract" link in CPanels File Manager. Be sure to upload the archive into its own folder before extracting the contents :rolleyes:
