I seem to recall that there is a limit to the number of files allowed in a single directory. You may want to check with BH support via LiveChat to confirm this.

One suggestion would be to make PLENTY of backups. Stuff happens...

By default, BH does not activate the log programs. Go to cPanel, look for the Logs window, and click on Choose Log Programs.

Answer will always be to upgrade to latest version. Using an older version exposes you to security vulnerabilities and endless headaches for you and possible others on your server.

Sounds like you want to set up a redirect. If you go to cPanel, find the Domains window and click on Redirects.
