Clean up needed?
I am trying different blogging softwares now and other packages that are available through the fantastico interface. I will ultimately only use one but I am finding that the best way to choose is to try them all. When I uninstall the apps that I don't need is there some kind of utility I should use after they are all remove - some equivalent of windows's defrag? I want to have a nice tidy system
If the Fantastico uninstall scripts are working as they should be, there should be no need for you to clean up anything. As for an equivalent to Windows Defrag, there isn't one us mere customers have access to.
The hosting is running on Linux which uses a far better file system than the one Windows uses and therefore would rarely need to be defragged in any case.
