Default Accounting software that can be installed on BH

Can anyone recommend some accounting software that can be installed on the server? When I say accounting I am not talking about accounting for internet functions but rather a full accounting program to keep the books of a company.

You can try NolaPro (nolapro.com) I installed it for a client recently and it was just what they were looking for in a web based accounting software.

For a go at it try http://www.ctbcomputers.renderhaven....pro/readme.htm and login as customer with the password customer.

Is there any particular reason why you want everyone in the world to have access to see and possibly update the company accounts?

I would agree. This program is designed to be used on a corporate system. Not used on a shared server. My bad.

I am with a non profit organization that utilizes volunteers extensively. We have 3 different people in the U.S. working with accounting issues and we have 20 people on the field in China. We all have some kind of need to access the accounting information. My idea was that if an accounting program could be installed on a webservice (with security, of course) we could all share the data and everyone would live happily ever after It might be more practical to install the data file on the server and give everyone the software to install on their pc.

Setting up a virtual private network via the internet to give everyone access to the same accounting data would probably be the saftes way to go.
