    I just signed up. How can I find out my IP?

    It's in cpanel or in the welcome email you got.

    If I'm not mistaken unless you pay extra, the IP address is not fixed. To successfully access a soap service (no, not an overdue shower ) I needed to purchase the fixed IP address.

    It's not that the IP address isn't fixed, it's that it's shared. That's why, for things like a SOAP service, you need to purchase a dedicated IP (not a "fixed" IP).
