Nothing works

I have been trying to upload my site and having huge problems. I get the index page when I try to view my site and nothing that I do seems to fix the issue.

I have been over some of the problem articles and they are not helping.

I can not find the live chat either...I submitted a ticket in and even though I am registered for support assistance...it will not let me view it. So if I have a reply, I can not see it.

Am I overlooking something due to sheer frustration? Is there a way that I can clear my 'doings' and start over fresh?

What is 'the issue'? Have you removed the default.html (htm?)? Is your index page named index.html (or htm, php, etc).

The live chat is on the homepage, with a big blue button which says 'live chat' towards the bottom, but I don't think this is necessary.

Can we have a link to your website?

I did remove the default.html page.
My site is waylandparanormal.com

I have never built a site before....so please be easy with me.

Well, your index appears to be a gif file that you've named index.html..

It's a blue vertical stripe 6x646 pixels.

Your index should be.. an html file.

Yeah, I messed that up while trying to remove the index page. When I stated, all I could see when I pulled the site up was the index page with all my files listed. Then I tried to fix that, and this happened.

Is there a way to start over?

Just delete the file and upload your new index.html.

Do you have Norton security on your machine? If so, its ad-blocker has become notorious for preventing access to things like this. Turn it off.
