Wordpress autoresponse New User/Forgot Pass

Has anyone here had any issues with WordPress new register/forgot email auto response?

Mine just doesn't send the registration email. I had to install a 3rd party email plugin so users can retrieve there login information.

Any Suggestions?

I haven't had any problem with it - worked fine with the base install. Just had to create the sending email address so that the emails used the correct from address.
