Default why my websites were down a few times this week

    Hello,

Do my sites get more traffic? why they were down a few times this week? I already optimize the database.
What else should I do to get my sites up 100%?

    Thanks.

This is a user to user forum, so we wouldn't know anything about you account or webpages.

We do know that bluehost is doing an upgrade to the servers to PHP5 and Apache2. That may be the problem.

Best thing to do is use live chat, located on www.bluehost.com

Yes. I know the upgrade from bluehost. I use gallery for pictures to be viewed on the site so maybe that's problem it is down sometimes and up in the next minute.
    Thanks.

    Thumbs down Same

Same here, mysql server connections are up and down. I tried live chat but they seem TOO BUSY to serve the chat. I just wonder, how many people in this forum experience mysql problem?

I know that I thought I had a MySQL issue but it turned out that I needed to have the Apache server on my box reset. Right now, the BH support people are working overtime and then some to try and resolve all the issues that popped up with the Apache2 and PHP5 upgrades.

Support tickets are not going to get answered so your best bet is to keep trying LiveChat. Keep in mind that some of the support people on the other end of that having multiple chat windows open at once.

I think they need 2-3 weeks to get on top of the support tickets.

What department are you guys going to, to get the MySql problems resolved?
Each time I try clicking on the live support for the problem, it says to send a support ticket.
I entered one on the 9th and it still has no reply

I must be a glutton for punishment because I have taken out a second account today. If I had no trust in Bluehost, I would have gone else where for the new account. Up until the recent problems, they have always been spot on with help and support

Even before the recent "epidemic," the support ticket system was iffy at best. My guess is that there are users who clutter the system with simple questions that are answered by the FAQ but they don't take the time to do a little research. Again, most here would recommend using LiveChat to get matters resolved.

What exact issue are you having with MySQL? Are you having server connection issues?

Are you getting a CPU error. Some gallery programs are a very big recourse hog, especially if you're having the software resize all your images for you.
