Wordpress Config?

I can't get my config to work. What am I looking for?

Database name

Is this my website? Example mywebsite.com?

Database username

Would this be my bluehost user name?

Database password

Password for blue house

Database host
blue host????

Table prefix (if you want to run more than one WordPress in a single database)

I have no clue?

Database name is your Bluehost account name followed by an underscore followed by whatever you called the database you want it to use.

User name is your BlueHost username followed by an underscore followed by whatever username you set up for the database that you want WordPress to use.

Password will be the password set up for the username.

Host will be localhost.

If it is an existing database that already has another WordPress blog in it then ou can use the table prefix to ensure that the two blogs can share the database without trying to use the wrong tables.

Are you sure you already have a database set up to use with WordPress? If not you need to set one up first. See http://www.felgall.com/cpanel1.htm for a tutorial on how to create a database.

i'll like to add that maybe best solution for you is to use simple script or Fantastico features which will install automatically blog and database

If you go this route, I would suggest going the SimpleScripts route. It sounds like Fantastico will eventually get "phased out" at some point, which is probably for the better since it often lags behind with regards to upgrades.

Matt has already said that once Simple Scripts is properly established that Fantastico will then be disabled for everything except existing installs. They aolso appear to be working on setting up a way to automatically migrate from Fantastico to Simple Scripts. Presumably once that is done BlueHost will turn off Fantastico completely.
