I have had this happen to two companies that I have tried to send emails to. The first one informed me that it was a problem with my host or email. I wasn't too worried about it until it happened again. I need to be able to depend on my website email to go through Has anyone else had a problem with this? I'm wondering if it some setting I have done or if I need to contact bluehost about it.
Here's the full failure notice:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at outbound-mail-38.bluehost.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<email@example.com>:
Connected to 216.119.106.127 but sender was rejected.
Remote host said: 550 Sender is not allowed.
--- Enclosed are the original headers of the message.
There were no attachments, images or text that could have been a problem. In the first instance I tried multiple times in case it was a temporary thing. They were able to email me but I couldn't email them. Later they supposedly emailed me at the same address with an invoice but I never got it. I don't know if it was returned to them or not. They sent it to my personal email but that may not always be a good solution.
Thanks for any input.
