    Default Help needed regarding server status

    Can anyone help me with this. My problem is I was wondering why some things were running slow on my server, and I went to server status and saw one field was at 85%. How can I reduce this?
    Disk /dev/sdc1 (/home) 85 %

    same here and no logon I fill in works. I also have noted the server status problem that won't go away, mine says Disk /dev/sdb2 (/home) 92% with a blinking red light...

    What gives?

    That's because tmamayek is linking to a page on his server. Note the IP address, if this is not your server then trying to log-in won't work! Perhps tmamayek could remove the link?

    Code:
    <img src="http://69.89.21.96:2082/yellow-status.gif" border="0" alt="" />
    He wants to show us the yellow status dot of the server status page :-)

    (I've removed the link from the original post - folks, you can't put in a link to something from your Control Panel.)

    The "Disk" percentage is just showing you how much of the disk space on your server is currently in use. When it gets over 90%, BH will start moving some accounts to a new server. Since this represents the total disk space usage for all accounts on the server, there's not much that one user can do to change it. And until the disk gets very, very close to full, it won't affect the performance of your site, anyway.

    Glad you asked this.. I wondered myself for ages as mines is always been on 89 percent and I thought that was something bad on my part hahas.

    What does the one below it mean?

    Disk /dev/sdd1 (/backup) ? Mines is always flashing red with '97percent' on it.

    That just means that the portion of the disk space that BH uses to store backups of the sites on that server is also overcrowded. Again, nothing you can do about it.
