My server seems to have gone down.
Getting no ping response and no login to the control.

Is anybody else having any trouble? I cant get any answers from support.
Yeah, same here. Hopefully it'll clear soon.
Although its not good news, Im glad im not the only one! I was installing some new stuff and I thought it had knackered the site! Phew!

All of the boxes should be having the same issue, considering its a network connectivity issue on their end. All we can do is wait and hope they get it fixed soon.

I doubt it. I know that the box my site is on has had no downtime for several months now. With over 1000 servers a network connectivity problem could affect a dozen servers and leave the other thousand completely unaffected.
One of the reasons why it is so pointless asking in the forum about a server issue is that there is less than one chance in 1000 that any given reader is hosted on the same server you are.
i've been transfering files to my new site since 2:30 am.
no problems so far.
If your server is down, contact BH for information. First stop, the server status page: http://serverstatus.bluehost.com.
Posting about it in a user-to-user forum is a complete waste of time.
