    Default unlimited file transfer

i have been using this method of uploading today.
click on the "unlimited ftp" logo, and bang auto hook-up with java
running ftp straight out of mac os x.

    only 400 kb/s though.
is that a decent speed for uploading, or would a 3rd party app be faster ?

my main question is about the banner on top of the "unlimited ftp" page
saying its a demo not for commercial use. is this just a trial with a time limit
i cant seem to find out any information about this feature.
timed trial then pay. free as long as no commercial use ?

    anybody no anything about this.

its pretty cool though , direct transfer just like .mac.

    Depends.

First, are you saying you're getting 400KB/sec, or 400kbps? In other words, bytes or bits?

Second, what upload speed does your ISP support? That's more likely to be the limiting factor than anything inherent in the FTP client.
