I am trying to install wordpress in my subdomain folder but got "Internal Server Error" when I got to the point of actually running install.php .

just install it like it was your primary domain. i have several running in sub domains. extract it into a directory on your desktop. modify the config sample file and put your login information in there and then upload it to a directory in the subdomain. then follow the directions it should work fine.

    Default installing wordpress on globat.com

    Hi ,

    I am facing similar problem.
On Globat.com, the only way to setup a domain name is to create a folder with same name. e.g. sub.domain.com
I installed wordpress in a folder named blog.domain.com. But when I try to access blog.domain.com, it redirects to www.domain.com

    Please help.

    Thanks in advance.

This is a forum for people who host their sites on Bluehost. You need to ask the folks at Globat, or ask your question in a forum that deals with Globat issues, or Wordpress issues.

You probably have the site url in wordpress set to domain.com instead of sub.domain.com.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

    Thanks wysiwyg.

Where can I find that setting? I used the auto web installation method. I did not change anything.

Can you get to your wordpress admin panel?

The blog and wp address are under (path to wordpress)/wp-admin/options-general.php

Can you post a link to it actually, it will be a lot easier to see what the problem is.
