I can bet you this thread is going to get closed. Search the forum, and you'll find tons of other threads like this. Mainly, here's what you should do:
Check the status of your domain on Bluehost's status page: http://serverstatus.bluehost.com/
Bluehost runs hundreds of servers, there is no way we can tell you what is going on with your individual box. You can contact support if you feel like it, but they're probably just going to tell you the same thing as the status page, unless you can find a specific cause to the problem (i.e. the MySQL server is down). There are also hundreds of accounts on your individual server, so it's most likely not something with your account that is causing the slowdown. However, you might want to try removing any PHP scripts and just try browsing static HTML pages to see if the issue is PHP or MySQL.
Complaining is not going to help anything.

Hmm, something is definitely up: my site is timing out it's taking so long to load (even the stats page). No changes to installed software in the past week or so, so definitely something to do with the server rather than my stuff.
Just checked and my server (box 446) is apparently running 'normally'. If this is normal, I need to change ISPs. It's not running properly.

Oh, it's been happening for around 12 hours now too. Up and down, up and down.

I have hosting on 2 different accounts, and they happen to be on different computers (box 458 and box 425). Both of them are slow today, 458 especially slow. Pinging my site takes 260ms or more to domains on either server. I have almost no traffic (the sites havent been promoted yet at all and are still arent officially live yet).
Other than today though my ping times have typically been 30ms and all page loads have been extremely fast. I hope this is just an upgrade or maintenance issue on there side as I switched from 1and1 because the hosting was always real slow and I had no shell access without upgrading to a more expensive plan.

Their main page for fast domain and bluehost has been up and down. I called about it and they said that there has been some network issues for at least the last 30 minutes. (As far as I could tell)
That server status page indicates nothing of their network downtime nor does it have any time of history about any downtime. (BAD)
Luckily I host my main domains elsewhere and always insisteed on hosting my own dns so I have one variable I change from www2 to www
Its quite sad that my personal Internet connection and uptime than the servers and network as of late.
FYI I did not know this. Their service quality guarantee only has to do with the network. Nothing is guaranteed on the shared server.

right after that last post i checked my server again and its back to its usual 30-40ms ping times and everything is running nice again.
Not sure what the problem was but glad they got it back going, now i can get some work done.

shared ?
another site on the shared host is using mucho bandwidth, would be my guess.
Probably running some huge batch file, or hosting streaming video content, or has fatal errors, who knows?
