Talking SpamBox is way too much fun

I got SpamBox enabled and it is way to much fun to look at the Spam Assassian point total report attached to the top of each spam email.

Like any game, I currently have a current high score of 38.5 spam points.

If you are curious, here is what a report looks like
Spam detection software, running on the system "boxXXX.bluehost.com", has
identified this incoming email as possible spam. The original message
has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or label
similar future email. If you have any questions, see
the administrator of that system for details.

    ...

How did you do that? On my SA page there's no "enable SpamBox"
button, and when I called tech support about a year ago, they said
    it was currently disabled ...

    Thanks ..

It's in cpanel under "Email Manager". Just select spamassasin and the spambox enable button is there.

Hmmm .. I went to that screen, there are 3 buttons - "Enable Spam Assassin",
"Disable Spam Assassin" and "Disable Spam Box", but the "Enable Spam Box " is
just text, no button thete . Guess I'll have to call supprtt to enable that
    button ...

ok, contacted support and they enabled that Spam Box for me .

    Thanks ..

Ok like others I'm getting tired of my emails being spam.......

I hit enable spam assassin and I got this message:
    Spam Assassin is currently: enabled

    Spam Box is currently: disabled

    Is this going to help?

    Thanks,

I am scared to death to use a Spam Filter since I may miss an order ($$$) coming to me from online. I get about 400 Spam emails a day and would love to filter them. Any advice on how to do this without missing orders?

Lightbulb Help from Outlook or Outlook Express

    Hi, Kentj:

If you use Outlook or Outlook Express to read your incoming mail, you can set up rules so that those from people in your address book, those that have specific subjects, etc. can be flagged and/or highlighted in other colors. On my home account, which was originally a business account, I have the same problem with the bulk of the mail I get each day being spam, and doing that has made it easy to spot any mail that accidently ends up in my spam box.

I also use Norton Antispam (part of the Internet Security package) to weed out spam and 99% of the time it does a great job. I highly recommend it!
