hello. total newbie here. i registered my domain here a few days ago to start a wp blog. bluehost has given me an email address pertaining to my main domain. how can i check that? it may be a silly question, but i still need some guidance.

You should ignore that address and create the ones you want to use yourself. The supplied one is basically only there so it can be used as the sending email address if you forget to create an email account before trying to send emails from it.
