Thread: Email notifier?

  1. #1

    Question Email notifier?

Hello, I was just wanting to know if you guys provided some sort of an email notifier that can be downloaded to the desktop or task bar that would notify the user when they had a new email? Kinda like Google notifier does: http://toolbar.google.com/gmail-help...r_windows.html.
Please let me know, thank you!

This is a user-to-user forum, so "we" don't provide anything - we're just users, like you.

For email notification, the best thing to do is to use an email client program like Outlook to fetch your email, instead of trying to use webmail (which is feature-poor), and just have it check for new mail every 10 minutes or so. Any email client program can be configured to give you a little notification icon/sound when there are new messages.

Or just use the email fowarders to your google or yahoo address or whatever address you use, works great!

How does that make an alert pop up on your screen to tell you that you have mail?
