Mail setup on a Mac

I used to use the auto configure, but this time I can't because I am using a mac. Everything works fine up until I put in the Outgoing Mail Server. I have tried using mail.mydomain.com and I tried using box500.bluehost.com


I have also used IMap & Pop option, but still no luck. I even tried checking and un-checking "Use Authentication" with still no luck. If anyone can please help me it truly would be appreciated.


The error I get is simply cannot find the server. It may be down or please try again later.

Alright so I fixed it.

If anyone else has trouble or a similar problem as me here is the fix.

Just simply uncheck "use this server only" then it will prompt a password there after. Use the one you use to login into your webmail or the one you created.

never mind still does not work and I have tried everything. Not sure if it is the mac or bluehost or something. I can connect to my gmail account fine though
