Upgrade to cPanel 11.24 - when?

I am waiting for cPanel 11.24 because it has some Exim bug fixes which would really help me.

Anybody got any inside info when we might see it?

Why don't you ask BlueHost? If they tell you then you can post here to let the rest of us know.

I've already tried the helpdesk but the answer (from level 1 support) is that they will advise when it is available.

I was hoping someone a bit further up the food chain might spot this post.

What is the best way to get attention from higher up without being rude? (no point in being rude until there is something to be rude about).

cPanel have announced that 11.24 has been released and it looks like a major improvement all round. They are claiming a 25% reduction in I/O and with my box running all four drives at >95% most of the time that's got to be worth something.

You have to go through the first level support to get to anyone higher up. It is very rare for BlueHost staff of any level to visit the forums here.

Rolling out a Cpanel update (which are not known for bug free coding) across around 1000 servers can be quite a process. It's not something they would do all at once because if something breaks they don't want to break everyone. They'll do it on a test box first, then a small number of servers before they roll it out to everyone.
