Default Modifying Location of primary domain

Hopefully someone can tell me an easy way to do this. I believe I am missing something that is obvious.

Using the subdomain tab, I am able to easily see how to point a subdomain to a specific directory.

subdomain.maindomain.com I can point this easily.

I had pointed my maindomain to a directory when I created it but I see no way to change this directory. I also have several addon domains which I would like to change their destinations.

so I would like to repoint the following

maindomain.com and www.maindomain.com to a new directory without having to delete it and recreate it.

also I would like to repoint

addondomain.com and www.addondomain.com to another directory.

I hope I am making my question clear. Thanks.

    Michael

To change the folder your main domain is using you'd just update the line in the .htaccess file that is identifying the folder.

The only way to change where the others point is to delete the folder reference and create a new one through the domain manager. It is only the folder reference you are deleting there and you can't point it to a new folder without first deleting the current connection. Doing this doesn't delete either the domain or the folder, it just removes the link between them so you can create a new link to a different folder.
